Artists Creative Fund
Summary
The Artists Creative Fund is a collaboration between George Kaiser Family Foundation (GKFF) and Creative Arkansas Community Hub & Exchange (CACHE). This initiative provides funding, visibility, and professional development to artists and creatives living in the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Through this fund, 20 project-specific awards of $10,000 each will be invested in a diverse group of artists to test ideas, explore collaborations, and build skills in the process of generating innovative creative work.
This fund rewards artistic accomplishments to date and supports the continued development of creative projects in dance, theater, music, spoken word, performance art, traditional and folk arts, visual art (2D and 3D), film, literary arts, and/or any multi-disciplinary combination of the above. Grantees will be required to have one public-facing event with Tulsa audiences during the grant period.

Eligibility
Lead artists must currently reside within the Tulsa city limits, must have resided in the Tulsa city limits for at least one year, and will retain residency in the Tulsa city limits for the duration of the grant period. Evaluation and Selection Criteria
To determine awards, the panelists will consider the following items:
- Artistry: The applicant demonstrates a commitment and dedication to working in their discipline(s), a compelling vision for their work in general, and strong work samples.
- Strength of Concept/Feasibility: Proposed project concept is relevant, interesting, inspiring, and thought-provoking. Proposed project concept aligns with the applicant's vision or purpose for their work. Applicant demonstrates the capacity and skill to carry out their project. Applicant’s budget, timeline and project proposal align.
- Professional/Artistic Growth: Project represents an opportunity, artistic challenge, or a creative stretch for the applicant(s). The applicant demonstrates how this project/opportunity relates to and furthers their career and artistic goals.
